- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups chicken broth

Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, celery, and bell pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until vegetables are soft.
- Add parsley, oysters, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and oregano. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until oysters are firm and vegetables are tender.
- Stir in cooked rice and chicken broth. Mix well.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the mixture is heated through.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
