Method
- Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear.
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the rice to the boiling water, stir, and reduce the heat to low.
- Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
