- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 bag of marshmallows (10 oz)
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 9x13 inch baking dish
- Saucepan
- Wooden spoon
Method
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add a 10 oz bag of marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and combined.
- Add 1 cup of creamy peanut butter to the marshmallow mixture and stir until completely melted and combined.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
- Pour the marshmallow and peanut butter mixture into the large mixing bowl with the Rice Krispies cereal. Using a wooden spoon, stir until everything is well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and press down firmly to make an even layer.
- Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes or until firm.
- Cut into squares and serve.
