For the sticky rice:- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Method
1. Rinse the glutinous rice with cold water until the water runs clear. 2. Soak the rice in cold water for at least 30 minutes. 3. After soaking, drain the rice and place it in a steamer basket or colander. 4. Add 1 1/2 cups of water to a medium-sized pot and bring to a boil. 5. Place the steamer basket or colander with the rice over the boiling water, cover with a lid, and steam for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and cooked through. 6. While the rice is cooking, prepare the coconut milk mixture by combining 1/2 cup of coconut milk, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/4 tsp of salt in a saucepan. 7. Heat the coconut milk mixture over low heat until the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally. 8. When the rice is cooked, remove it from the steamer basket or colander and place it in a mixing bowl. 9. Pour the coconut milk mixture over the rice and stir until the rice is coated with the mixture. 10. Allow the rice to cool for a few minutes. 11. While the rice is cooling, prepare the topping by combining 1/4 cup of coconut milk, 1 tbsp of sugar, and 1/4 tsp of salt in a saucepan. 12. Heat the topping mixture over low heat until the sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally. 13. To serve, place a generous amount of the sticky rice on a serving dish and top with the sliced mango. 14. Drizzle the topping over the mango and rice, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.Notes
